in memory of the best cat that ever was

It's with a heavy heart that I must share the news of the passing of my lil' boy Pugley. We made the difficult decision late yesterday to end his battle with cancer. He just wasn't the same little asshole he's always been, and his health had seriously declined in the past few months. We've tried many variations of lots of drugs to try to prolong the little guys life as much as we could, but they stopped working and he just wasn't happy anymore. So we took away his pain, and sent him off to a better place. I sure will miss that cat; he was with me for so very long, and really was my fur baby.

So I'm dedicating this post to my Pugs, the biggest grump that ever was. I love you lil' boy.

Damn, you're making me cry. I am so glad Jeff and I rescued him from the Humane Society - I'll never forget how badly matted and gross he was, and how grumpy he looked. And you taking on his care for us and giving him the best home ever meant he ended up having a pretty awesome life. Even though he ended up hating us for giving him up and taking on many more cats, I forgave him :), and I'll miss him too.

Awww... I'm sad for you. But I bet Pugley is happy on the other side of the rainbow. After all, he did score a great gig being adopted by you guys.

Jen, your dedication post is beautiful. Great pics with Pugs! That cat saw it all, had been with you and watched you become a mommy. Sad that you had to let him go, but of course we know he's in peaceful place forever.
Love ya xo

This makes me cry. I know how hard it is to make this decision, even though it's the right one. They are our babies.

I'm so sorry for you. He was a really cute cat and he sure does look grumpy in all those photos (but that's what makes him extra cute). Grumpy cute.
