this wonderful saturday

Gia was quite excited to show her blanket to the camera today. So much so that in the middle of getting changed, she broke away from her daddy and ran to have her picture taken. Hence the naked baby. She spent the next few minutes posing, while saying over and over "look everybody, my blankie. It's pink". She adores this ratty old thing.
After capturing and dressing the naked baby, we headed out for the usual weekend errands. I got a new shirt (my first purchase in weeks!), plus some new threads for Gia.
Tonight is packed full of fun. We'll start with a birthday party for my aunt, followed by a random get together at a friends condo. I feel like I haven't had a true night out in forever, so I'm looking forward to it. Plus my parents are keeping the kid for the night, so maybe, just maybe I'll be able to sleep in past 6:30 tomorrow!
