faded empire

Not that long ago, Jo, my blog partner over at desire to inspire, opened up an online shop called Faded Empire with a friend of hers. She sells mostly stuff for the home but will soon be carrying some incredible jewelry and clothing. Right now she has a few bags up on the site that are gorgeous so I thought I should feature them.

apparently nobody else at work got the memo that it was retro day. ;)

I just packed my bag for another weekend at the cottage, and realized my closet is lacking t-shirts. If you haven't noticed, I have an abundance of tanks and cardi's, but maybe 3 t-shirts. So I took a quick peek around the internet, and came up with a few that I might order. Requirements as shipping, or from a store at the mall near me, must not have graphics as I'm over looking like a 12 year old in the summer, and for the same reason, no cheesy writing like "Aeropostale" or "Abercrombie" up the side.
Simon's, Jacob and Old Navy fit the bill so here's what I found.

(I'm getting bored of the shopping at the same online stores so if any fellow Canadians have any recommendations for sites with free/really cheap shipping, please share!)

I'm so tired, I have absolutely nothing to say. Shocking, I know.

cardi & bag: H&M
tank: Dynamite
jeans & bangles: Forever21
shoes: Aldo
earrings: my nieces school fundraiser

I've been wanting a new watch for months (I have 2 - the silver one i usually wear is maybe 8 years old and scratched to sh*t and the other has a thick band that I'm not really into these days) and a pair of funky black sandals. I just found both on Shopbop. I'm trying to avoid online shopping via the U.S. but it's annoying because I don't know enough decent Canadian shops. (To note: I can't buy the watch anyway - they'll only ship it within the US)
