winter footwear at its finest

I mentioned a while back that I had gone to Beaded Dreams to get a pair of mukluks. They had the exact pair I wanted but unfortunately one size too big (I typically take a 9 in boots and I needed an 8 in these as they're made big). They are from Manitobah Mukluks, a great company but who doesn't seem to take into consideration the influx of sales this time of year. It took over a month for the shop to receive their shipment. Crazy! But WELL WORTH THE WAIT. I LOVE my new mukluks. They are SO freaking confortable and warm. Like wearing slippers outdoors. I have moccasins from MM that I wear constantly and now I have mukluks so I am all set for this dreadfully cold weather. (P.S. If you're in Ottawa and want any products from Manitobah Mukluks, go see the lovely folks at Beaded Dreams on Bank St. - they'll order you whatever you want and they charge less than the suggested retail price).

  3. These are so nice. Can't wait until mine come in! And yup, I think they'll be warm because they're sheepskin lined.

  4. LOVE these. I have been eyeing a few pairs from Manitobah Mukluks. They are a great company!! won't do fur, but I think the Tall Gatherer boot is great, and I love the fringe mocs.
