Christmas officially begins tonight with our annual friends Christmas dinner. It's a casual night with great food, wine, and an awful ornament exchange. I look forward to this night so much, as it's with friends that I've known since I was 6. Some of them have kids of their own now, and having all our babies in the basement playing and shrieking with delight makes me so very happy.
I would have totally worn a skirt, if I owned one. Maybe one day soon I'll go out enough to justify buying a few dressier pieces. In the mean time, cords it is!
