montreal purchases

I went to Montreal without much of a plan except to try and find black tops and black booties and pumps. I did manage to find some black tops...and a bunch of other stuff. I am still on the hunt for black footwear. We hit up our favourites like H&M, Mango, Style Exchange, Simons, Zara and others. We'd like to go back again soon because we realized with only about 45 left before closing, that Carrefour Laval is a GREAT mall (we usually just go to Rockland Mall) and to make matters worse we discovered it has a Victoria's Secret (!!!!) and the douchebag security outside the store was not letting anyone else in. Grrrrrrrrr.

Here's what I picked up at Mango:

Here's what I found at H&M:

a silky t-shirt

2 basic long sleeve cotton tops

a mustard/gold sweater dress (thought this would look good with my new burgundy Jeffrey Campbell boots)

silky 3/4 sleeve sheer blouse

i wasn't going to take a pic of these but they're the BEST tanks - thick and completely cover  your bra. i now have 5 of these ($6.95 each)

And Banana Republic was having a 40% off all tops sale so I FINALLY got myself a basic white (chambray) blouse and a black blouse (LOVE this because it's thick and fitted but I needed a 10 to fit my melons).

I also picked up some bras at Simons (and a buffalo plaid fleece blanket for my nephew) at Simons but not going to photograph that. I spend alot of time at Simons drooling over their designer bags (I find it very off that they randomly carry bags by the likes of Balmain, Chloe, 3.1 Phillip Lim, DVF...)
